COMMUNITY SUPPORT
The Swan City Half Marathon is proud to partner with the Grande Prairie Fire Fighters Charity Foundation! The GPFFCF is a charity run by city firefighters who are passionate about making Grande Prairie a better place to live. 100% of the money we raise goes to families and individuals in need in the Grande Prairie area! Participants are presented the opportunity to fundraise for the GPFFCF and the event has created a ‘Run for Charity’ category. Entrants in this category pay a reduced entry fee and fundraise a minimum of $300 for our partner charity!
Our Story
With a passion for promoting community wellness, the Swan City Half Marathon brings together runners of all skill levels to experience the picturesque landscapes of Grande Prairie and Muskoseepi Park. Hosted by Multisportscanada, Western Canada’s premier sports events management company, they specialize in event production of large-scale triathlon and running events. Having produced over 400 multisport events since 1995, including the Vancouver Triathlon in Stanley Park and the Jasper Canadian Rockies Half Marathon, MultiSportsCanada is dedicated to the management of top-notch multisport events all over Western Canada; including triathlons and other running and multi-sport events.
Our objective is to provide athletes of all ages and abilities the opportunity to enjoy a healthy lifestyle through exciting and engaging events that are conducted in a safe and fair environment.
